The following are the terms and conditions for the sale of goods that will govern any contract of sale that The Appliance Zone enters into with you, the customer. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

One must be at least 18 years of age to order goods through The Appliance Zone. Whilst we endeavour to give you as much information as possible on each of the products offered in The Appliance Zone, all the products we sell are of a technical nature and it is therefore not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products and keep specifications 100% upto date.Therefore all photographs, drawings, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.

All prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery charges to mainland UK only. We will treat each order for goods as a request by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. By completing the details and clicking the 'submit order' button on the final checkout screen you are agreeing to buy the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

We have the right to refuse at our discretion to supply any goods ordered by you. Goods are subject to availability. If for, any reason goods ordered are not available you will be offered a full refund.

Should for any reason you wish to

  • Cancel your order before the goods are dispatched, a full refund of the purchase price will be made.
  • Cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched, a nominal fee of £15 will be charged to you when making necessary refund.

All appliances sold by us carry a minimum 12 months manufacturer’s guarantee. However, should you have any problems with your product, you should first consult your instruction manual, supplied with your item, as 'faults' can sometimes be rectified without the need for a service call. Warranty clause will be applicable as per the manufacture warrnty caluse and we will not provide any exata warranty.

As the goods come direct from the manufacturer, goods are subject to availability and any delay in delivery is sometimes out of our control. Delivery times of goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods unless caused by our negligence.

Once the goods have been delivered you must inspect them for damage before you accept the goods. If you delay in accepting the delivery responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date the carrier tried to deliver the goods to you.

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us immediately. In the event of a product being faulty when delivered we will dispatch a replacement item at our expense. Alternatively, you may cancel the order and all monies will be refunded. You can email us at info@theappliancezone.co.uk or telephone our office on 0207 993 9868 during office hours. We will arrange for collection and replacement of the damaged goods at no charge. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS WE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR GOODS SAID TO BE DAMAGED ON DELIVERY. If goods are returned to us because they are faulty and these are subsequently found by us to be in full working order, the goods will be returned to you and an administration charge of 15% of the price of the goods together with the cost of carriage will be charged to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We will issue you with a receipt, which will be sent to you by email. It is always our aim to provide you with a high standard of service. However, occasionally things can go wrong. In the event of any enquiry or complaint regarding your order, delivery or goods, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can send an email to info@theappliancezone.co.uk or telephone us on 0207 993 9868 during office hours. We will endeavour to respond to your complaint within 5 working days.

Each complaint will be dealt with individually and we will try to resolve the complaint within the shortest timescale possible. We aim to deal with all complaints and bring to a satisfactory conclusion within 7 working days.

'Cooling off' Period - Under the European Directive on Distance Selling which is incorporated into UK law by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you, the consumer, is given the right to cancel your order within 7 working days. The 7 days begins from the date you receive your order.

To be entitled to cancel the order the item must be un-used and in a re-saleable condition i.e. all packing, accessories, manuals etc; and must be returned at your expense. We would advise you to insure the item(s), as the cost of any lost or missing items in transit will need to be met by yourself.

All monies entitled to be refunded will be credited once the item(s) has been received by ourselves.

Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

The laws of England and Wales shall govern the Contract between The Appliance Zone and you, the customer and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

Any personal information we collect from you at the time of placing your order will be stored securely and will only be used lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. At no time do we see your credit card details - these are collected within SECPay's secure site.
